We are looking for a

B&B Sitter(s)

Like a house sitter, a B&B sitter takes care of the house. While house sitters take care of pets, our B&B sitter will take care of our guests, whom need to be fed once a day (i.e. breakfast).

Other than cleaning up the kitchen after breakfast and cleaning up after him/herself, the sitter has no cleaning duties (we have a professional cleaning crew for that).

We are looking for someone clean, organized, reliable and trustworthy, with a pleasant personality.

Sitter could be a single person or a couple (note that room has double bed - not queen).

If you speak English and French, it's a definite asset!

What You Get Out of It

A place to go to, to disconnect and relax - free of charge! Enjoy the hot tub. Take walks in the most delightful neighbourhood - historic downtown Brockville, near the river, the shops, restaurants, theatre, the Brock trail.

Get your own room with Queen or King bed and private ensuite bathroom, equipped with a Keurig coffee machine and a mini-fridge. A value of between $189 and $229 per night (+taxes).

Have access to all areas of the house, including the ones accessible to guest (great lounge, dining room, terrace, hot tub) and those reserved for owners (office/TV room, kitchen, laundry room).

What We Get Out of It

The sitter(s) will welcome guests, give them a 5-min tour and show them to their suites (If arrival time is an issue, we can also set up for self-check-in).

The sitter(s) will prepare breakfast for guests, based on a simplified menu (eggs over easy or scrambled, bacon, toast, jam, fruit in the plate), at a time that is convenient to the sitter. We offer training to show the person where things are and the special tools we have to make things easier.

Dates for which we are looking for a sitter:

  • From Nov 18 to 22, 2022

  • From Dec 9 to 13, 2022

  • Jan 30 to March 2, 2023.

We can have different sitters, but would love to cultivate a long-term relationship if possible.
